The Offshore Oil & Gas Industry

UKOOA (the United Kingdom Offshore Operators Association) is the representative organisation for the UK offshore oil and gas industry. UKOOA requires that those working offshore possess the correct certification to prove that they are fit to work in what is a remote and often hostile environment.

Situated close to Humberside airport, Caritas is ideally placed for all those departing from there to a north sea rig. We are are able conduct medicals and provide the necessary certification for oil & gas workers. Please contact us to arrange a medical.

What does the medical entail?
  • Whether or not the individual is fit to work in a remote location
  • Whether or not the individual is fit to work in a hostile environment
  • That the individual is able to travel safely to that environment by helicopter
  • That the individual is fit enough to wear and use survival equipment with a high chance of the equipment working.
